Since Sophie Harvey’s Grandmother passed away she has used art as a medium to express loss. By recalling memories and playing with objects that belonged to her, Sophie has reflected on the connection she had with her Grandmother. Through this process of grieving, Sophie explored her emotions and developed a body of work that represents her shock in losing her last matriarchal, feminine link.
