Heejoo Ahn was born in Korea in 1992 but moved to New Zealand in 2007. Heejoo’s main art field is drawing and painting, but she is also interested in printmaking and graphic illustration. She gained 2 outstanding scholarships for printmaking and painting in New Zealand and gained 2nd place nationally for a printmaking scholarship in 2010. Heejoo’s work is usually dreamy and deals with psychological themes. She likes creating unique creatures and atmosphere that doesn’t exist in reality. Heejoo is a passionate drawer and willing to take this skill further and find her own style.
