Serena Christie abstractly photographed places and objects that are significant in her life to reflect the little things that make up 'her world'. Serena wanted to draw attention to the mundane, making simple activities such as drinking water from a cup lyrical. The work provokes questions in the viewer such as, “what is that a photograph of?” and “how was that photograph taken?”
Places/objects photographed include: the artist’s home, backyard, a glass cup, waterfall, camera lens and mirror shards.
