What do we hide when we know we are being seen?
Laura Beverley’s work explores raw human behaviour, observing when people are in their hearts or their heads.
Each person was left in a studio alone for 5 minutes, a camera and bright lights a few centimetres from their face. They were asked to be themselves in a situation which is fake. They were given rules; no talking, no leaving the space and no phones.
The film captures people from the outside in.
