Drawing is often used to grapple with the unknown. The process enables us to negotiate meaning through culturally rooted classification systems. It is when a slippage occurs between these systems that drawings become interesting. By piecing together multiple sources, from imagery of the artist’s own body to celestial phenomena, Nebulous Bodies explores drawing’s significance through its connections to knowledge.
