3D printed ABS plastic
Each peg is approx. 10cm x 6cm - 9 pegs in total

The Therapeg project modifies existing clothes pegs, to develop an ‘invisible exercise’ regime to maintain hand strength and dexterity for aged care residents. The designs are intended for use in an occupational therapy setting, as well as a traditional domestic setting, for those with limited hand mobility. The action of hanging textiles, tactile fabrics and artworks on lines of various heights promotes functional exercise and movement of the whole body. Consequently these activities will help maintain balance, proprioception and a functional range of movement.
