Dance Movement

Natalia Chow’s work looks at the idiosyncratic qualities of energy and how it is manipulated through motion. Whilst working on the project, Natalie came to appreciate how our movements define us, and how much of our own character can be perceived purely through our motions. This work takes the various flowing forms of a dancer and applies various graphic styles to reflect the quality of the movements performed, transforming the space around the figure.
As an exercise in VFX and sound composition, this work applies motion capture and particle systems as it aims to reconstruct the invisible.
