When Sasha Kiely creates art, it is often to express her concerns with, or observations of humankind and our nature. In the past, Sasha has dealt with issues such as the live export trade, as well as concern for the dying link between humans and the natural world. This year she has looked at how social influence can be a form of power through observations of figures in the fields of religion, entertainment/pop culture and philosophy/politics. Sasha has chosen one figure from each field whom she believes to be highly influential to base her body of work upon.
