The heart is acknowledged as one of the most important organs in the human body and it has been polished into many different facets through the hands of artists, scientists as well as litterateurs. Qingya Tu has designed several organic objects that aim to raise public awareness of heart health issues in contemporary society. The concept of the project explores the heart as either an anatomical object or an art symbol to establish an “identity” for the human heart in order to lead more young adults to pay attention to their lifestyle and take care of their own heart.
