Gloria Jeon’s projects are inspired by issues that affect our culture and the physical environment that we live in. The inspirations come from mundane objects, scenery and settings of everyday that are rich with interactions and relationships of different people. Her recent interests have evolved towards exploring the society made up of these individuals, which led Gloria to create works that are centred on the conceptual aesthetics of installations. Current works deal with political and social structures, challenging the audience with new perspectives on issues with things that are seen as conventional norms.
