A Night Out in Kings Cross
2014
Ceramics
54cm x 45cm x 17cm

A Night Out in Kings Cross functions as a social commentary. It represents the destruction of the irrational actions that intoxicated individuals have on innocent people seeking an enjoyable night out. The coffins contain objects and actions young people entangle themselves in that are affiliated with going out in Kings Cross, Sydney. The objective is to draw attention to this societal problem that is consuming the young people of today. The mirror represents the fact that the behaviour of one angry individual can affect any unassuming individual; the innocent victim could be anyone, it could be you!
