Alice Tait is fascinated with the human form and its capacity to change and do things beyond our control. Her obsession with creating these hybrid beings and the repetition and the constant return to these shapes has begun to represent and reflect her own being. Alice is integral in the creation of these beings, making her own species whilst projecting her own anxieties about the human body. It is an evolving self-portrait.
