Brett Breedon’s work looks to explore our personal investment in the perceived truth that photographic images represent.
He is interested in what we look for in the photograph, the representative facts contained in the image, and its underlying reality. Brett endeavors to disrupt these representations to allow for new understandings.
His process driven practice uses site-specific interventions and hand made constructions to produce ambiguous outcomes that allow for open interpretation.
