INFINITY focuses on Jia Guo’s journey of becoming an artist, and metaphorically depicts the artist’s state of mind as a peaceful forest. It expresses the feeling of searching for something has been missing in Jia’s life for almost 20 years until art was found. From the beginning, the process of transforming lines into artworks has struck Jia as magical. Gradually that magical process has reshaped who the artist is, leading to the exploration of new possibilities in art and in life. From traditional presentations to digital outputs, across two and three dimensions, this journey fills me with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
