Working across analog and digital photographic processes, Jack Banduch’s practice operates as an attempt to navigate and understand collective notions of pursuit, potential and purpose.
Jack’s self-reflexive intervention and manipulation makes use of the photograph as a universal space of scrutiny, of critique and classification; a structure of transient representation, concrete but malleable. A shaped space situated between objectivity and subjectivity, considered documented reality and romantic gesture. Employed as a means to explore one’s constant, fleeting interrogation with the ineffable and the sublime.
