William Nghiem is a Sydney-based visual artist dealing with illustrative and graphical painting and drawing practices with mixed elements of design and traditional techniques. Strongly passionate in creating works that deal with themes of conflict, injustice and the many facets of human beings, he illustrates these subjects in a way that displays pleasing aesthetics, luring the audience in to something that possesses a grim subtext. He makes these works approachable and also digestible with hopes that these underlying concepts will catch them by surprise.
