Fictitious character Lescott Raylan Russell is the product of an experiment in which artist Scott Allan Russell and his father Leigh Raymond Russell merged their online profiles to reveal a composite identity. Informed by statistics collected from Google’s ad settings page, the morphed figure was ascribed a gender, approximate age and general interests based upon the father and son’s cumulative web activity.
