Ollie McKenzie’s work is very experimental and eclectic. He mainly uses found materials and objects that he picks up off the street or people bring to him. The paintings Ollie has been making often incorporate various bonding agents and paints. He’s very interested in the idea of failure/therapy objects and automatic sculpture. His street photography work informs the other sections of his practice and that's why Ollie included some into this install. He truly believes in the Duchampian notion that “art is not what you see, art is the gap.”
