Danielle Johansen’s practice explores the boundaries of domesticity and the figure’s role within interior frames. A dialectic relationship is formed between inside and outside, alluding to the ephemeral experience of person in place.
By forming a linear narrative with representations of the unreal, Danielle questions where world and image are momentarily elided.
